Himfr.com reports Asustek said the department intends to buy Toshiba laptops
According to Taiwan media reports, M & A Asus is now never likely to expand market share through mergers and strive in 2011 to become the world’s third-largest notebook PC brand. Asus chairman Johnny Shih confirmed that ASUS did indeed consider the acquisition of Toshiba’s notebook computer division. Once the merger between the two, the annual production scale of the challenge will be 30 million units, and that is expected to match that Lenovo and Dell, resulting in industry, major reshuffle.
